I'm Rah Reinholz and I am running for House district 17. I come from a long line of strong Wyomingites who have fought hard to create beautiful lives in this wonderful state, and I intend to continue that lineage by taking a stand. I am running because I fear for the future of Wyoming. &nbsp;I have seen my peers flee the state to create lives elsewhere, due to a growing gap of inaccessibility to the lives of the previous generations, lack of government support or opportunities in the community, and a social shift that puts corporate institutions' wants above the community needs. I believe in the freedom of the individual, and limitation to the government's ability to interfere in those rights. I believe that the State has a duty to the people of Wyoming to make a continued effort to increase the quality of life and affordability for its citizens, and legislators must echo the concerns of the constituents. I stand with the working people of Wyoming and will fight for a future Wyomingites deserve.

Fighting for Our Community

Accessible Healthcare must be affordable and decided by only the individual and their physician. The government should refrain from overstepping Wyomingite rights to make our own medical decisions. Legislators have consistently tried to pass restricting legislation on Wyomingites' access to healthcare choices. This limitation drives away medical providers, increases local cost and wait times and ultimately forces Wyomingites to travel out of state to receive care.

Accessible affordable Healthcare

Resources must be managed for the benefit of the wyomingite. Responsible use of our land, water, and air must come before corporations profits. Coal and Oil must continue to be supported, however Wyoming must expand to cover all sectors of energy production to maintain dominance in the field. Our natural resources should be managed by Wyomingites for our best interest; this includes restricting foreign owned resource extraction and increasing the revenue they contribute to the state.

Responsible managment of Resources

Our youth are the most valuable resource; they are the foundation for Wyoming's future. Providing them with the knowledge and support needed to continue to thrive in Wyoming is essential. The loss of our youth is damaging to our Wyoming communities and the economy. The majority of our young people leave the state due to lack of opportunity and representation. We must build a Wyoming where the future is affordable, and desirable or risk the continuous loss of our youth.

Retaining and supporting our youth

Our fiscal responsibility is to the betterment of the Wyoming people first and foremost. Today we see Wyomingites struggle with rising costs of inflation, inaccessible housing prices, subpar support services and lack of legislative support in these matters. Our schools, support services, and infrastructure are falling behind. Wyoming must do more to create strong support to the people building lives in our state via investment in programs that allow Wyomingites to thrive and create families for generations to come.
